Hutnik Boots
Shockers To Victory
April 19, 2008 Bellingham,
WA
Pat Hutnik made 4 of 5
field goals to pace the Shockers to a 12-6 victory on the
cold turf at Bellingham Saturday. Rory Lee set a new
team record for yards in a game rushing for 144 yards, but
the offense couldn't find the endzone and relied on Hutnik
for the points.
The Bulldogs got on the
board early following a Shocker turnover, but the defense
brought their A game and shut down Bellingham giving the
offense a reprieve for not being able to finish drives.
The Evergreen Football
League and Western Football News tabbed Hutnik special teams
player of the week, while Lee earned All-Purpose player of
the week from the WFN. Lee finished the day with 191
total yards.
