Vanek becomes
yet another former Logger to run with the
Shockers after a successful collegiate
career. The former Pocatello, Idaho
native brings size and smarts to the free
safety position, as well as a linebackers'
disposition for lowering the boom on wide
receivers entering his zone. Could
join former Loggers Micah Tanaka, Ryan
Kalalau, and Eric Goodman as a starter in
the Shockers defensive backfield making it
the first time in team history all 4 spots
were held by players from the same alma
mater.
